The Registered Nurse will be a part of our multidisciplinary team. We offer crisis intervention & multidisciplinary assessments for adolescents with complex and severe mental health issues.
<\/div>

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients and families
<\/li>
Work as member of our interdisciplinary team
<\/li>
Participate in the development and implementation of inpatient programming
<\/li>
Offer support\/counselling to patients and their families
<\/li>
Provide appropriate learning experiences for our patients and their families
<\/li>
Offer mentoring and precepting experience to students and new staff
<\/li>
Perform âin chargeâ role when needed
<\/li> <\/ul>

Requirements<\/h3>
Requires PICU experience as a licensed RN
<\/li>
Critical Care experience with the ability to care for Hemodynamically unstable and ventilated patients
<\/li>
May consider training for those with Adult ICU or other acute care Pediatric experience
<\/li>
Critical Care courses and Certification or other appropriate combination of education and experience
<\/li>
Current PALS certification or successful completion of within 12 months
<\/li>
Vulnerable Sector Check required
<\/li>
Current CNO RN registration mandatory
<\/li>
Current CPR mandatory
<\/li>
B.Sc. Nursing (Current or in Progress) Preferred
<\/li>
Certificate in Pediatric Nursing Preferred but will train
<\/li>
Experience in PICU Preferred but will consider training experienced ICU RN
<\/li>
Excellent team work and interpersonal skills
<\/li>
Bilingualism French\/English an asset
<\/li>
