New Grad RNs from within last 12 months considered

Indiana, USA (Approx 6 hrs from Toronto, 2-3 hrs from Windsor)
Med-Surg or Behavioural Health available for new grads
Full time, Long-term position-Minimum commitment of 2 years
12 hr shifts 
Various medical and surgical units available

NEW GRAD RNs-Med Surg and Psych units

Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities
    Plans and provides high quality nursing care to patients
         Administer medications, provide and render treatment to patients
    Communicate with physicians, LPNs, radiologists and other medical professionals
    Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient
    Consider the age of the patient and his or her emotional stability when determining appropriate treatment
    Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed
    Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their families
    Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment

Ongoing support for nurses throughout their employment

 

Assistance with renewal of work authorization and documentation when needed

 



Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) skills

    Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing 
    NCLEX-Passed or will be writing upon graduation.
    Current Canadian passport with a minimum of 6 months remaining
        Current VisaScreen Certificate for non-US applicants   Apply at www.cgfns.org
    Valid nursing Indiana RN licence or eligible for. We will assist with this
        BLS
    Advanced knowledge of EMRs
    Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed
    Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
    Ability to explain treatments and conditions to children of all ages
    Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations
