Atlantic Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Centre is a modern looking, forward-thinking and innovative practice that specializes in oral surgery and dental implants. Our team is dedicated to the highest level of patient and surgical care during all forms of treatment, including wisdom teeth removal and dental implant placements. We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse willing to work 3-4 shifts a week, averaging 30 hours a week with the possibility to pick up extra shifts.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver compassionate patient care before, during, and after surgery, ensuring both patients and their families feel comfortable and informed.
  • Conduct pre-surgical screenings by reviewing medical histories and educating patients on their treatment options.
  • Perform essential surgical tasks, including administering IVs, monitoring vital signs, and administering medications.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to assist in procedures, fostering teamwork and a commitment to excellence.
  • Oversee patient recovery, providing clear post-operative instructions to support a smooth healing process.

  • Current practicing license with the Association of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador (ARNNL).
  • Certification in BLS for Health Care Providers (ACLS certification is an asset).
  • Experience with IV sedation (considered an asset).
  • Experience working in ICU or emergency a considered an asset.
