WILL CONSIDER NEW GRADS\-All Med Surg units and specialty units (ER, ICU, L&D etc) if candidate has had 4th year clinical rotation or other work experience in that unit.

Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities
<\/div>

Plans and provides high quality nursing care to patients<\/span>
<\/ul>
         Administer medications, provide and render treatment to patients<\/span>
<\/div>

Communicate with physicians, LPNs, radiologists and other medical professionals<\/span>
<\/ul>
Collaborate with physicians to create a Plan of Care for each patient<\/span>
<\/ul>
Consider the age of the patient and his or her emotional stability when determining appropriate treatment<\/span>
<\/ul>
Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed<\/span>
<\/ul>
Respond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their families<\/span>
<\/ul>
Counsel patients and family members before, during and after treatment<\/span>
<\/ul>

Requirements<\/h3>

Registered Nurse (RN) skills
<\/h4>

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred or will complete within 3 years of employment

NCLEX<\/span> <\/ul>
        Current VisaScreen for non\-US applicants
<\/span> <\/div>

Valid nursing Indiana RN licence or eligible for<\/span>
<\/ul>
        BLS
<\/span> <\/div>

Advanced knowledge of EMRs<\/span>
<\/ul>
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed<\/span>
<\/ul>
Excellent bedside manner and communication skills<\/span>
<\/ul>
Ability to explain treatments and conditions to children of all ages<\/span>
<\/ul>
Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations<\/span>
<\/ul>
