Our client is a private senior home care located in the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia and is currently seeking experienced Registered

Nurses (RN) to join our care team. As a Registered Nurse, you are responsible for delivering quality nursing care to patients with a
<\/div>
<\/div>
focus on assessment, health education, disease prevention and as well as early intervention and support for chronic health conditions.
<\/div>
<\/div>
RN participated in a team -centeredJob duties:
<\/div>
<\/div>
ï· Administering medications to residents
<\/div>
<\/div>
ï· Assessing wounds and determining a course of treatment within the RN scope of practice
<\/div>
<\/div>
ï· Supervising LPNs and CCAs
<\/div>
<\/div>
ï· Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and maintain plans of care
<\/div>
<\/div>
ï· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician or according to established policies and protocols
<\/div>
<\/div>
ï· Monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
<\/div>
<\/div>
ï· Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
<\/div>
<\/div>
ï· May supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
<\/div>
<\/div>
ï· May develop and implement discharge planning process on admission of patients
<\/div><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>ï· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
<\/div>ï· Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing (NSCN) required.
<\/div>ï· Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), preferably in the community home setting
<\/div><\/span>
