Job Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority through provision of safe quality nursing care to clients. The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Manager of a designated area.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Education

• Adult ECG interpretation from an accredited course is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
• Current BCLS certification.

Other Education and Training

• Nursing diploma is acceptable
• Recent critical care experience desired.  Adult ECG interpretation from an accredited course is required.  An accredited course includes but is not limited to BCCNP, CV component of BCCNP, CCNP, early exit option of CCNP, and Level 3 of APEX Innovation Impulse 2.0.  Proof of completion will be required.  If you do not have adult ECG interpretation, this will be provided through the inhouse orientation.
