    Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager of Nursing, the RN will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care for Orthopedics.

    Education
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
    Licenses
    • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
    Other Education and Training
    • Nursing diploma is acceptable
    • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

    Knowledge and Abilities
    • Knowledge is commonly obtained through previous experience in Orthopedics.
    • Ability to competently use computers and software applications
    • Ability to communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds
    • Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
    • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
    • Knowledge of nursing principles, methods and techniques in Orthopedics.
    • Experience in nursing services relating to the care of surgery patients
