Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Salary: $35 - $37Β per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in British Columbia. This full-time position offers a rotational shift schedule, ensuring flexibility while delivering exceptional care to our patients. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians to provide high-quality, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living.
  • Work closely with RNs and physicians to assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records.
  • Educate patients and families on health management, discharge planning, and preventative care.
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and ethical standards.
  • Assist in coordination of patient care, ensuring excellent communication with family members and healthcare providers.

Shift Schedule:

  • 2 days (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
  • 2 days (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • 2 days off (rotation schedule)

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC).
  • Completion of a recognized LPN program from an accredited institution.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Compassionate, patient-centered care approach.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with a rotating schedule.
  • Competitive hourly rate of $38.
  • No travel required for this position (non-travel role).
