Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
Right at Home has been a leader in our communities across Canada through the pandemic. We have responded to the changing needs by collaborating with our community partners on joint ventures and unique community programs.
Our current vaccination centres hire RPNs, RNs, and vaccination centers located in Newmarket, Richmond Hill, and Vaughan. Being able to drive is an asset, as you may be asked to work at all listed locations.

Job Duties:

As an RPN, you will perform within your scope of practice and as outlined by CNO and your supervisor either verbally or by the Care Plan. Your responsibilities may include but not restricted to:

- Performs tasks, including medication administration via different routes.

- Performs tasks such as applying non-sterile dressings.

- Administers medication to clients and provides medication reminders and education following established policy.

- Performs Nursing Assessments as required

- Observes clients and their environments and report unsafe conditions and behavioural, physical, and/or cognitive changes to the supervisor.

- Completes and maintains related records and documentation such as communication books and progress reports.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Participates in continuing education.

- Attends RAH in-services, including Nursing related meetings

- May participate in RAH community events when requested upon mutual agreement.
