RURAL NURSE PRACTITIONER

 

Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for rural healthcare? We are currently seeking a highly skilled and adventurous individual to join our team in a picturesque rural setting in Canada .

Canadian Health Labs (CHL)  is a national healthcare solutions provider contracted to provide healthcare services for various public and private sector organizations throughout Canada. This is an opportunity to contribute to keeping Canadians safe and healthy while getting to explore new locations across our beautiful country.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Provide high-quality primary and specialized healthcare services to patients in rural clinical settings.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose medical conditions, and develop treatment plans with healthcare teams.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
  • Adhere to healthcare protocols, guidelines, and ethical standards in all patient interactions.
  • Collaborate with local healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Canada.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a rural setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to different locations for thirty (30) days or more.
  • Provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per provincial Immunization Policy.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check.
