At Sinai Health, we care, create possibilities and offer hope. We are looking for a Registered Practical Nurse to support our Dialysis & Renal Care department.
Dialysis & Renal Care features 32 beds to support complex care patients (including tracheotomy, complex wounds, gastrostomy, colostomy, behaviors and more). This unit also provides hemodialysis pre and post care.
This is a highly collaborative, supporting and welcoming environment. Nurses work closely patients and family caregivers to create a care plan tailored to each patient’s needs and goals. In this specialization there’s increased opportunity to become familiar with a patient and their specific routines and how they want care delivered.

“The Practice of Nursing is the promotion of health and the assessment of, the provision of care for and the treatment of health conditions by supportive, preventive, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative means in order to attain or maintain optimal function.” (CNO, 2004, p.3).
Registered Practical Nurses can be assigned patients with complexity of care needs that are well defined and established, who have predictable outcomes and manageable responses.
Registered Practical Nurses are assigned to patients after the admission and assessment is completed by a Registered Nurse and the patient meets the above criteria.
Education & Qualifications:
