RhynoCare is looking for dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) specialized in Emergency Room to join our amazing team. We’re ready when you are!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Working in sub-acute and acute areas including resuscitation room.
- Stabilizing incoming patients. Starting IV lines.
- Assess patients and be able to make emergency decisions based on them in the best interest of the patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients as well as maintain consistent communication which surgeons and other members of the emergency team
- Respond to various code situations e.g. code blue.
- Ability to prioritize role tasks; react positively to heavy workloads, conflicting demands, and tight time constraints.
- Assume responsibility and is accountable at all times for personal practice.
- Demonstrated ability to use standard office software.
- Willingly participates in quality improvement and client safety initiatives.
- Perform other duties, as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in good standing with the College of Nurse of Ontario.
- Minimum of 1,500 hours of experience in an Emergency Department setting within the past two (2) years.
- Proof of competency in Emergency Clinical Skills.
- PALS Certification
- TNCC Certification
- Cardiac Course/Certification (any)
- CTAS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- BLS Certification
- Resuscitation Room training required.
- Minimum 2 COVID Vaccination doses
- Vulnerable Sector Check within 6 months
