Family is looking for a  RN or RPN to support a young child with epilepsy & autism.  Wanting to hire someone with a loving heart and passionate to work with children. Located at Elgin Mills and Woodbine (Markham) area.  Hours as follows:
AM shift: Monday & Wednesday & Thursday & Friday 7 am to 11 am (total 16 hours)
PM shift: Monday & Wednesday & Thursday or Friday 3 pm to 7 pm (total 12 hours)
Please note total hours can go up to 35 hours depending on the needs of the family & patient.

What we are looking for: 
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) registered in Ontario
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety and infection control practices
  • Cantonese speaking would be an asset
What you will be doing:
  • Performing comprehensive assessments of client status, including physical, psychosocial, and environmental parameters.
  • Developing an individualized plan of care for each client that incorporates analysis of data and current scientific findings.
  • Providing interventions with a focus on achieving realistic client outcomes.
  • Reporting changes to update the plan of care to reflect progress towards goals and outcomes.
  • Administering medications as needed.
  • Maintaining client records showing systematic assessments, planning interventions, and evaluations.
  • Initiating referrals as needed to other health team members.

Salary Range:
  • $33 to $44
 
Compensation: $33.00 - $44.00 per hour
