Nurse Practitioner - Bilingual (French/English) - Remote Home Based Positions


Location: ANY CITY IN CANADA - Remote work from home position - MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK AND WRITE FRENCH & POSSESS QUEBEC LICENSURE or ABLE TO GET IT QUICKLY)

FTE: Full time, part-time employee positions available (remote work from home positions)

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 Annually

Hours: Mostly weekdays (9am - 5pm), but open to evenings as well


Our client's mission is an ambitious one: halving the spread of new HIV infections. HIV is on the rise and over 50% of new HIV cases are in the LGBTQ2S+ community. They have built a direct-to-consumer telemedicine offering to enable this community to access a HIV prevention medication called PrEP that reduces the risk of acquiring HIV by 99%, virtually.


Our client is looking for caring and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to work from home in any province/city as long as they have their QC NP licence to provide high-quality care to their patients. Their patients are #1 priority, and they strive to provide compassionate and understanding care that goes beyond the traditional and stigmatized doctor’s office visits.


Never worked with HIV prevention medication before? No worries. All of their top-notch clinicians have undergone training on how to interact with, prescribe, and follow up with the medication.


As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be given the opportunity to work closely with their Clinical Operations teams in order to determine the best care for our clients patients.


Responsibilities:



  • Provide high-quality care to patients through our virtual care platform;

  • Order lab tests and review the results;

  • Patient charting in EMR;

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the patient experience.


What We’re Looking For:



  • Master's degree in Nursing, advanced practice option, and a complimentary diploma in primary care.

  • Must have Minimum 1-2 years of experience in primary care;

  • Intermediate communication skills in French and English, both oral and written

  • Must be licensed in Quebec

  • Experience working in HIV prevention and/or with the LGBTQ2S+ community.


Nice-to-Haves (not required)



  • Experience working with gender and sexually diverse communities;

  • Experience with virtual care;

  • Experience working in the private sector, a start-up, or technology company
