Pay: $30-$35 Hourly

Pharmacy Hours: 
Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Mint Health + Drugs seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dynamic and growing team. In this role, you'll support and collaborate with a dedicated group of healthcare professionals, ensuring exceptional customer care and adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Education & Qualifications

  • Active registration and valid practice permit with the College of Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
  • 1 year experience practicing as an LPN, home health service delivery preferred.
  • Enhanced Criminal Record Check

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient assessments and monitor health status
  • Administer injections for flu and travel vaccines
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Educate patients on health management and treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop care plans
  • Address patient questions and concerns
  • Provide exceptional customer service and care

Experience & Skills

 

  • Experience with patient assessments 
  • Working knowledge in related field
  • Familiarization with technology
  • Experience in addiction & mental health fields is an asset
  • Community health LPN, Home Care LPN, or similar experience is an asset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in patient care
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in Alberta
